Quatrefoils Revisited

Last November, I posted these chairs. It only took me 2 months to paint them! Our family spent the better part of a weekend applying white primer and paint to the four chairs and matching table. For the seat covers, I chose a pink and white fabric that somewhat mimicks the quatrefoil design. The table and chairs were destined for the Valentine's Day display window at Very Vintage until I found out the table was too wide for the window. Soooo. . . the table is my desk for now. The four chairs are placed around our farm table. I do love them!

I remember when you first posted about the chairs. Wow--what a difference. And the fabric you picked out matches perfectly and changes the whole look. I really like them.

Love the chairs! I need to replace the fabric on my chairs but haven't ever done it before. How do you know how much fabric to get? Any suggestions or hints you have would be appreciated.

Cindy, the chairs/table turned out great! I can only imagine the work you had to put in to finish them. Love the fabric you chose also. Wonderful makeover ;-) --Leslie

LOVE the chairs. I too love to paint chairs. It is amazing the transformation when you can see through the before into the after of your mind's eye. It lets you get the stuff that everyone else thinks is not filled with potential.

Isn't that just how planning goes? I'm finally learning to stop thinking about it soo much and just start doing it!

These chairs are beautiful! I don't know why but they kind-of remind me of 'Alice in Wonderland.' I would have to keep them, they are too pretty and unusual to part with.

Hey Cindy,
This is the real Stevie...ha. I am Lee Laurie's friend. When she told me you have never had a man comment on your blog....well, I felt like I had to. She is always showing me something on different blogs and these chairs definitely look like they could be in "Alice in Wonderland". She even inspired me to start my own blog. I am not as committed as she is, but it is neat. We have gotten several ideas from blogging. We have sooo many projects we want to do and just can't make the time for them all....we will....one day. This is from a male blogger.....lol(please don't tell my friends)
Take Care,
Stevie

Hello Cindy, my name is Nunzia and I am Italian. Congratulations for your blog and your fantasy! In particular these chairs are marvellous! I adore pink and white. Although I'm 31 and although in Italy pink is a childish colour, my room is completely white and pink. I don't paint but I like designing and making jewels and also scrapbooking. Visit my blog (next days I will publish the pictures of my first scrapbooking album) and if you want tell me your opinion. Kisses from Nunzia and from Italy.

Hi Cindy, those chairs are out of this world. Love them and the fabric is gorgeous. I know how much work that is painting chairs. I recently painted 13 furniture pieces in a couple days, so I can relate. Love them at your farm table.
