This French antique armoire has a story. It stood for many lonely months in a corner of the antique mall I featured in my last blog post. It first caught my eye during one of my many shopping trips, but I knew I couldn't afford to purchase it. Each time I paid a visit I imagined it in my living room. The price was reduced the third time I visited, so I had high hopes. The night before my birthday I prayed that the price would be reduced again (I know, quite the selfish prayer!)
WELL, the next day (my birthday) I visited my favorite armoire with my husband (I lovingly call him The Bank.) I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the price had been REDUCED AGAIN! Well, I knew my prayer was answered, the timing was right, it was meant to be. . . . . all the things I tell myself when I want something VERY BADLY!The armoire now stores my Rachel Ashwell linen "collection," shabby fabrics, cushions, and some cutepinkstuff inventory. I'm so grateful to have a piece of furniture I truly LOVE! Be sure to visit the antique mall previously posted if you are in the Agoura Hills, CA area.
